The Conference Organisers

THE GREENWICH FORUM. The Greenwich Forum was founded in 1974 and its 40 members represent all facets of the maritime sector.  It uses conferences, studies and reports to stress the importance of the sea and human dependence on its sustainability.  The aim of the Forum is to stimulate awareness on the part of governments, the public, experts in the field and decision-makers in the European Union and international bodies; to treat marine/maritime activities and related problems as closely interdependent and deal with them at the European Union and international level, rather than an exclusively national one.  www.greenwichforum.org.uk.

The Conference Business (CB) has organised the Greenwich Forum’s conferences for the past 15 years. It also organises conferences for a variety of associations and bodies in Britain and across Europe. CB is headed by Howard Evans, a Master Mariner with long experience of organising maritime conferences and events. www.conferencebusiness.co.uk.
